Kellyanne Conway’s resignation raises concerns
Kellyanne Conway announces resignation from White House staff to work on family related issues.
White House counselor, Kellyanne Conway announced her resignation from the staff this past Sunday. Her husband George Conway also announced his withdrawal from The Lincoln Project, an organization of Republicans fighting for President Trump’s removal from office. Both claimed the reason for their departure was to work on their family.
While this seems like a fairly normal story, large media outlets have yet to report on the truth behind Conway’s family issues. Her 15-year-old daughter, Claudia Conway has gained a massive following on the popular social media platform, TikTok. Recently, she posted videos exposing the abusive nature of her parents and her desire to be emancipated.
Her TikTok has garnered over half a million followers and is growing at a rapid pace. Sanderson senior, Ainsley May discovered Claudia on her ‘For You Page’ a couple months ago. After following her for quite some time and hearing her story, May fully supports her decision to emancipate from her parents saying, “I think she is in the right. No one should have to live in a toxic household that harms your mental health.”
Claudia has not been shy about sharing her opposing political views from her mother. She consistently urges people not to vote for President Donald Trump in the upcoming election, reminding her followers he is racist and homophobic, among other things. In a recent tweet she says, “My mother’s job ruined my life to begin with. Heartbreaking that she continues to go down that path after years of watching her children suffer. Selfish. It’s all about the money and fame, ladies and gentlemen.”
After Kellyanne Conway announced her departure from the White House, Claudia posted a series of TikToks and Tweets revealing she only learned of her parents’ departures through the news, she had no prior knowledge of it.
She announced, not long after that she will be taking a break from social media to focus on her mental health. Conway expressed her gratitude for the immense amount of support she has received these past few months, and her followers hope she will find both peace and justice with her situation.
