Fans of hit television show The Office got an inside look at Dunder Mifflin when actresses Angela Kinsey and Jenna Fischer launched their new podcast, “Office Ladies,” on October 16.

The idea began as the 15th anniversary of the show approached and both women were flooded with memories from their experiences on the show. As the two reminisced, they recorded their conversation and later sent it to Stitcher’s comedy network. It instantly became a hit.

Kinsey and Fisher are real-life best friends despite the attitude their characters displayed towards each other on the show. Their podcast  allowed the two to come together to give fans a chance to listen to funny tidbits, behind-the-scenes stories, and general questions and answers about the show.

In an interview with Earwolf, Kinsey says “This show combines two of my favorite things: The Office and getting to hang out with my real life BFF, Jenna Fischer! The Office was such an amazing chapter of our lives and it means so much to us that we get to share some of our memories of filming it with our audiences.”

Because of the show’s documentary-type format, Kinsey and Fischer are able to revisit any individual episode of The Office for listeners. Despite the unscripted nerdy banter between best friends, the two read off note cards in order to remember all their favorite moments of the show.

For some episodes, special guests are invited to speak to give fans an even more exciting look at the show. Rainn Wilsom, who plays Dwight Schrute, spoke in their third podcast “Healthcare.”

“You know you get to a certain point in laughing where you just cross a line? Where you’ve just been tickled too much and you just can’t bring it back? That happened maybe every two to three episodes for me and it absolutely happened in this one,” he stated.

“Office Ladies” is a way for fans of The Office to relive their favorite moments with their favorite real-life Office ladies.
