The week of September 6 marks the Spring/Summer season of New York Fashion Week. From outrageous looks, to celebrity appearances, here are the highlights of NYFW 2019. 

Marc Jacobs stunned with his playful Fashion Week line modelled by none other than Gigi Hadid. After a wardrobe malfunction, Hadid was forced to walk barefoot, but did so with such poise, the audience thought nothing of it. The line had beautiful gowns, bright colors, and large hats that made it one of the most noteworthy shows of the week. 

Jeremy Scott’s line served as one of  NYFW most outrageous, out-of-this-world lines. The eclectic clothing line was described best by Vogue as, “A bit heavy metal, a bit rockabilly, a lot New Wave—there was a strong whiff of ’80s cult classic film Liquid Sky—and extremely kitschy sci-fi.”

Snack brand Cheetos made their runway debut at the New York Fashion Week. They featured accessories, clothing, and makeup looks all inspired by the cheesy snack. Rapper Saweetie performed and several social media influencers walked the runway.
