Apple drops iPhone 11
The new iPhone features three cameras.
Apple unveiled its official 2019 iPhone lineup: the iPhone 11, and iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
The new iPhones are being branded as the toughest models yet with a new matte stainless steel body available in the “Pro” design. While the Pro will feature a new body material, the regular iPhone 11 will also have its front glass and back glass strengthened through a dual ion‑exchange process.
Possibly the biggest difference between the iPhone 11 Pro and past iPhone models is the camera. The all new iPhone will sport a 3-part camera. While better quality photos may appeal to consumers, the odd appearance of the cameras may turn some away.
Apple will also be extending its color spectrum, adding purple, green, and yellow to the iPhone lineup.
Surprisingly, the iPhone 11 is priced less than the previous iPhone Xr model. The iPhone price decrease gives Apple a new way to get new customers into its system of connected products.
Spartan Alhagi Fall shared his thoughts on the new model, “I want it because having three cameras is a revolution, two isn’t enough for me” Whether this same opinion is shared by many is yet to be seen.
The iPhone 11 Pro, Pro Max, and iPhone 11 are available to pre-order as of September, 13.
